A compact is a granule consisting of 100% additives. Usually a compact contains a blend of additives rather than one single component.
The advantages of compacts are the following:

Eliminates weighting and mixing
Each granule contains the additive mixture
Less handling costs
Less analytical costs
Tighter specifications (> 10% better)
Lower nominal target possible
Less production time losses
Quality improvement
HSE advantages, eliminates dust

Compacts are mainly used by polymer producers.

Addcomp is well equipped to produce compacts, including compacts containing low-melting point additives such as combinations of HALS systems.
